Well, glad to see that this idea is finally working. I've waited long to see it...
OK, introduction. My name is Juan Francisco Díez and I also live in Spain, more precisely in the county of Biscay, and even more precisely I'm neighbour of the designer of this cra... I mean, Ergman
I've been a wargames-lover for more time than I can remember, and now I paint miniatures as a relaxing therapy in my scarce free time... can't wait to put my hands on one of your minis and ruin it with my terrible painting
Greets! |

Hi. Your a lucky guy. Living next to Edgar! I'd be knocking on his door every 2 minutes asking him questions about sculpting. He would be moving house within a week _________________ "Tou Wa Ichiji Towanu Wa Matsudai No Haji" (To ask may be a moments shame, but to not ask and remain ignorant is a lifelong shame) Masakki Hatsumi |

Hey! What are you suggesting?? Lately it's been you who came to my flat asking for my camera to take pics of your minis and upload them here! You ungrateful guy
Today or tomorrow I'm going to GW's store in Bilbao to buy some paints; and also to Guinea Hobbies (a local store in our town - check it out on the internet) to get a matt varnish... the last one I used was on spray, and did something really weird to one of my minis, which is now more shiny than the floor of my kitchen I was thinking on brush applied matt varnish, but I'm not sure about its effect. Has any of you used something like that before? Any feedback would be very welcome.
Have a nice Friday! |

The best matt varnish I have found is Testors Dull Coat you can get it in both spray and brush on formats and both are really good. _________________ For Those Who Believe Wait A Crown A Ring |

I use Vallejo matt varnish, it's acrilyc and you can aply a really thick coat with, in may opinion, excellent result.
For example it's perfect for high stress miniatures, as Blood Bowl, as you can varnish with a gloss varnish first for extra protection and the use the Vallejo matt for get the desired matt finishing.
And you can get it in Guinea
Hope it helps. |
