Hi, just joined the forum, and wanted to introduce myself.
My name is James, and I paint minis for a living, well if you can call painting minis a living, LOL.
I studio paint for Black Hat Miniatures and Olleys Armies, plus take on private commissions.

I'm part of the Admin team over at World of Minis, which is where I first learnt of Madpuppet minis, I don't own many only 3 to date, but am seriously impressed with the details on them!!

Hello James, I too commission paint minis for a living (or well, I have a "real" job as well but it's hard to say which one I earn more money on ).

I saw your stuff in the competition – very nice minis!

Thanks for the nice welcome folks.
Dominus the hardest part of commission painting I find is giving the minis back, especially on the higher priced jobs that turn out really well.

I wholeheartedly agree - I am painting a warhammer 40k army at the moment that I really would have wanted to keep for myself

But at least it pays the rent, and everything else too for me.
